This Privacy Policy explains how StagSpin ("we", "us") collects, uses and protects information when you use stagspin.com (the "Site"). We are committed to handling your data responsibly and in line with the UK GDPR and the Data Protection Act 2018.

Information we collect

  • Spin inputs. The budget, group size, departure city, vibe and trip date you enter to generate a plan. These are used to produce your result and are stored only if you create a shareable voting page.
  • Shared packages and votes. If you generate a share link, the generated plan and any votes cast on it are stored so the page works.
  • Usage analytics. Anonymised, aggregated events such as page views, spins completed, shares and outbound link clicks, used to improve the Site. We do not collect names, emails or payment details.

Cookies and tracking

We use minimal first-party analytics to understand how the Site is used. When you click an outbound booking link, the third-party provider (e.g. Skyscanner, Booking.com, GetYourGuide) may set their own cookies to attribute a referral to us. These are governed by the respective provider's privacy policy.

Affiliate links

Some outbound links are affiliate links. If you book through them we may earn a commission at no extra cost to you. This may involve the provider recording that the referral came from StagSpin. See our Terms for details.

Third-party providers

Generated plans link to third-party travel providers. We are not responsible for their content, pricing, availability or data practices. We encourage you to review their privacy policies before booking.

Data retention and your rights

We retain shared packages and analytics only as long as needed to operate the Site. Under UK GDPR you have the right to access, correct or request deletion of personal data we hold. As we do not collect accounts or contact details, most usage is anonymous; for any request relating to a shared package, contact us using the details below.
